**The Official Everything MMA Related Thread**

Wow. I did not see that coming. I wonder how long this has been going on? Long term or short term? Either way he has tarnished his legacy.

I guess the reality is there's probably a lot of guys using, certainly more than we know about. When there's big money involved there will always be cheats.

Injected steroids can be detected in a users system for 3-4 months, is it unreasonable to assume Anderson was prescribed steroids as part of his rehabilitation as opposed to "abusing" them? I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt based on his previous clean record.

Surprised at Anderson, could he have done it to aid such a fast recovery?

Not surprised at all with Nick though :D

Watched quite an interesting piece with Chael Sonnen on "Louder with Crowder" - apparently one of the drugs that Anderson allegedly took can make your bones more brittle!?!?

Dana White says Anderson will still coach TUF Brazil so he can't be too upset!

Just caught up with the Diaz silva card.

I think I preffered the pre lims!

Just read that Weidmans injured, shame was looking forward to that.

Only just watched it myself.

Prelims were better than the main card. As for the main event, I'm sure I remember calling this as a bad fight a while back and it didn't let me down.

Can't believe anyone is surprised with steroid use by the elite MMA fighters. The only surprising thing is that he got caught. :p

Also watching the post fight interview, as we mentioned earlier about people missing weight.

Dana White said both Linkear and Kelven have to move up a weight division.

Both ridiculous statements. Kelvin can and has easily made 170 before, he simply needs to get his **** together. Lineker too as he's a decent force at flyweight and wouldn't benefit from moving up at all.

I agree on Gastelum, but Linekar has missed weight 4 of the last 8 times he's fought, not by a pound either, by 3/4.

Time he either sorted his camp out, with respect to his diet and cutting regime or to accept that he can't reliably make that weight and move up.

A single missed weight, or twice at a push and a fighter shouldn't have to move up, but 4 out of 8 it's starting to take the Mickey.

Gastelum missing by 10 pounds suggests to me that something went wrong somewhere, maybe an injury or illness perhaps as that's miles over.

I know what you mean - I've only heard of 3 or 4 of the guys on the whole card! (but in all fairness that doesn't mean they aren't going to be cracking fights!)

Surely this is going to have some effect on the organisation if fighters keep testing positive.

At least with pride back in the day you knew everyone was juicing.

Just watched the weigh in for this weekends event, I know Henderson has moved up but Thatch literally looks 2 weight classes larger. Don't fancy Ben's chances in this one.

i searched youtube for "UFC" to watch the weigh ins, but for some reason i clicked on the Tate V's Zingano fight from 2013, glad i did as i hadnt seen it, now it all makes sence why Tate was worthy of replacing Zingano for 'the ultimate fighter' V's Rousy...
Tate absolutely ruined Zingano those first 2 rounds, and that leads me on to think that unless Zingano has improved massively since that fight Rousy will dominate her @ UFC 184
