Marvel Cinematic Universe - Phase 3

I love how people keep saying things that Marvel HAVE to do/have in the films.

No they don't.

You are right they don't, but the probability of them doing so is higher based on existing information, so yes they might not.

To clarify we have SEEN Adam Warlocks cocoon and seen that it disappear indicating that he will 'in all probability' appear AND considering he is the central part of the infinity gauntlet story outside of Thanos then he is in all probability going to be in it.

So they have either agreed to free that individual IP OR they have agreed to expand the use of other IP's and yes they could arguably do the infinity gauntlet without Galactus, but Galactus is such a HUGE fan favorite and sell-able character that I find it unlikely not to see him.

Maybe you are right and they dont have any of them in....maybe we should stop speculating and talk about other topics.....

Marvel don't have to take a lot of villians and turn them into two dimensional jobbers who get killed-off in these films, but they do. In fact their villians so far, Loki excluded have been pretty unremarkable but that's not a surprise when you only give a character a single film and limited time before you off them. I fear Ultron will be next, which would be a crying shame.

I see him as being different. Reckon he'll be the best villain yet.

Wasn't the real mandarin for one so he's still out there :p

The other three I all feel were done justice, none of them were really going to be appearing in multiple films.

I know, just forgot the other guys name. :p

They lacked depth. Did Whiplash even talk? If so I don't remember it. And Malekith, well, they wasted him.

And that's no excuse for bad villians! Look at the Joker from Dark Knight, perfect. Only appeared in one film and he was alongside lots of other villians/characters. They need to up their game. ;)

Wow that is huge news! So how does this affect the Sony films? I thought they had Spider-man 3 and 4 plus Venom and Sinister Six in production?

Suck for Garfield though, I thought he was excellent.

It seesm crazy but I would be quite happy for them to reboot it. The last 5 films I was never really sold on, but I think you could do a lot with the character.

I've not read the full article but I thought this was more about getting Spidey in other films (Civil War anyone?) rather than rebooting it from the start?

They had to reboot it didn't they?

Not too keen on Garfield's version of Spidey but to reboot again just makes it worst than Batman for franchise rinsing!

Still, knowing they will have Spiderman in Civil War at least eases my mind as he is important to the story! That said, they managed Ultron without Hank Pym...

One of the articles mentioned old plans to make him an adult when they brought him over so they didn't have to do the origin stuff again. Not sure whether that's still the case though.
