I am sure you're correct about the size, it's just the mounting mechanism that may be different. Appreciate the input

I've got my filters fitted now, they look great behind the fascia, you'd never know they were there. The mesh is incredibly fine so I am sure they'll stop most of the dust. The airflow does seem to be a little more restricted, but there's no difference in temps. Thanks for the tip Cooper.

Aardvark - any luck with cancelling your Demciflex order?

no it was too late unfortunately.

i'll see what it looks like when it arrives, maybe see if i can fit on the inside.

That's a shame, but from what I've read you can't beat Demciflex so I am sure it will perform very well.

yeah i've had them before and they do look neat - i'm not really that bothered if it affects the looks 'too much' - the pc's on the floor and i never realy look at it. i think i was more annoyed that a solution that was half the price i paid was found!

That's some pretty swift postage. Glad it looks good. You may find it needs cleaning frequently, at least that's what I've found with the new ones I have. It certainly beats cleaning the inside of the case often though

yeah i had some small ones on my old case, they really catch it - as the pc is in my bedroom its amazing how much dust there is. It mainly seems to come from bedding and clothes - most of the dust seems to be small fibres.

Could someone tell me if the Demciflex filter for the Obsidian 450D front intake can be installed between the front panel and the case? Any pics would be great.
