BMW 2 series GT

That ... is ... horrific.

I'm sure it will sell extremely well however, so long as they get the right blend of high book figure mpg on the 214d (or whatever it will be) and get some black wheels on it :(

That said given its based on the Mini I assume it will actually be quite good to drive.

Fox its still a rear wheel drive saloon though? That's historically their core market.

Though I don't disagree that this has been going on for some time.

We knows it's a FWD MINI yeah? There's the active tourer and now the active GRAND tourer with 7 seats. It's not really a 2 series GT.

He's responding to fox talking about the 320d. :)

But you're right with it being a big mini, it's a bit like Fiat and their many inflated 500 models.. or mini and their abundance of ugly.

Not bad for baby momma's that need something to show off while dropping the kids at school/doing their daily shopping in tesco's

It does look a bit generic, but the MPV market is lacking some premium marques. I can see them being popular

It might well be but a Ford Fusion is either a Fiesta based hatch or a large US saloon and neither of those look like a 7 seater blob.

Sorry but once you de-badge it by removing thee front bumper, it's a generic blob. The kind of car a battered husband gets forced into buying. Look at the guy driving it, he hides it well, bless, but he's one thought away from driving it off a cliff.

Not sure that BMW have realised that the MPV segment is one of the fastest shrinking at the moment...
