They all had duck lips so... they are all *****.

I dont care what car they drive or if they drink champagne through a straw on Beds of money. I don't regard that as remotley interesting. They will be obnoxious arrogant retards because they are too young to not be so.....

We live in such a shallow society where money and materialistic things is considered to be all and end all, I don't envy these people, but they concern me, the whole instagram culture has created an open narcissistic subculture, and a lot of these people will have some sort of psychotic characteristics, theres some interesting studies coming out in psychology in these areas.

Personally don't understand all of the envy and hate they get too, I pretty much have everything I need and much more, but never have I felt any less or more happy when I have had less or more, same with money, I'm happy when I have money and when I don't and I'm unhappy when I have money and when I don't. There's more to life than just having lots of things.

I like your reply best :) It makes complete sense ;)

Judging someone as a '****' because of the car they're driving. Wow. Grow up.

Your attitude stinks. Rather than sitting there moaning about what others have why don't you go out there and do it yourself? They probably worked really hard for it and all you have to say is "What a rich ****". And if it's inherited wealth, so what? Somewhere in their family in previous generations someone probably worked really hard to accumulate that wealth. When they die where do you think the money goes? Unless they give it to the cats home their kids get it. That attitude gets you nowhere in life. Either get out there and make it for yourself or mind your own business.

LMAO :) :D

I work hard for my money but I don't show it off to the world ! I could buy a nice car if I wanted but to me its a waste of money , I could get a nice mortgage but again I think that's a waste of money when I don't have any kids to pass it on to when its paid of so I rent. I guess in this world we all do things different and have different views , I just don't like Rich kids that post photos to the world , Going look at me I'm stinking Rich.

so what do you do with your money?

OP needs a plan to live the life he deserves. Options include lottery tickets, meth dealing or banking. Actually banking isn't really socially acceptable any more, so probably best sticking to the first two...

The problem isn't the wealth it's the 'Look at us' mentality that goes along with it. If they are fortunate enough to enjoy a wonderful life style then that's great and all power to them but why should that involve rubbing it in others faces in quite such a vulgar way?

If the best thing you can think of to do with a Ferrari is post pictures of it on social media with a crappy filter applied and a load of crap hash tags then IMHO that's a real shame.

How about you ? How do these people make you feel about your life style. ?

They don't. I don't look at "social" media, which seems generally rather antisocial to me, but if I did then I doubt if it would make any difference. I already know that rich people exist. I already know that at least some of them, probably most of them, will spends lots of money on whatever appeals to them at the time and live in great luxury, especially the younger people. Excess money is luxury and/or power - that's essentially what it's for.

In many times and places there have been social customs or even laws controlling how overtly rich people display their wealth. In this time and place there are fewer such controls. Privacy is becoming seen as an archaic concept and increasingly treated as suspicious.

I think society would be a better place with a less wildly unequal distribution of resources, but it is what it is. Hating people who got lucky would make my life worse, not better. So I'm glad I don't do it.

How is it rubbing it in some ones face when you have to search for their instagram to get the pictures? To be honest I don't care at all. I am fully aware some people live ridiculous lives but I don't see how that affects my life.

I'd love to be rich, but happiness <> being-rich, you still have problems, just different ones.

This.

Not jealous of one of those things on there, not really :p I'm a daily user of instagram and sub to a lot of car orientated pages, doesn't make me jealous in the slightest it's just eye candy :D

Is this really what young people with money spend their time doing?

The way I look at it, if you don't like what people share then don't follow them, I am guessing this is how it all works? I personally have never been on Instagram but then I have other things I spend time doing, but would I really care if some rich fella with not a lot to do popped up on my feed? Nope I would do exactly the same as what I do with facebook, press delete and get on with my life.
