yeah try the aspire :) juices have a goldilocks' temperature range too. I've tried sub ohming some of my favs like mother's milk and the flavor is weak when compared to normal wattage.

I've just ordered some 5 pawns and alloy blend.. that's another 40 quid of vapemail in transit. :(

Just made a nice safe little 1.2 ohm dual coil using 30g kanthal equalling 3A, 12.5w @ 3.7v in my mutation x1.

got it on my 4nine in 18350, damn its so small :D and it fairly packs a punch lol. quite impressed with it.

Can't for the life of me get the wick right in my Lemo drop. It's annoying me so much as I've got a load of lovely US juices that are too thick for my Nautilus and too strong for my atlantis :(

Using Jap cotton, loose enough to pull through the coil without too much resistance and perfectly level with the deck. I just end up getting a burnt taste after a 7-8 draws and the flavour is just crap right from the outset.

Try stuffing a bit of the cotton into the juice channels? on my orchid I stuff it straight into the juice channels, wicks up perfectly

Where the hells everyone gone, theres been about 5 posts in 30 hours!! about 3 of them was me :p lol

Lol, I'm here, but I've been busy. :)

Nothing to report really, keep eying up an SX350 mini, other than that, I'm a happy Vaper . :D

haha all good then :D pretty much same here if im honest, lifes been quiet, I ordered 2.5 litre of vg and 200ml of nicotine 72mg vg based, and 500ml of pg though today, just need to find some decent flavours and im well on my way now. I ordered 2l of my liquid I vape now though just to be sure as a backup incase I mess it up haha :)

I'm here... just lurking... lol

I'm toying with the idea of getting the sx350 mini or the hana v4D, they both have positive and negative points, What I'm really after is a sx350 chip with dual parallel 18650. I should be getting a new credit card in the post in a few days time so I have to decide just yet, but it will be my last major purchase in a long while, I do have some little bits and bobs that I want to pick up like another subtank, the temperture control coils for the subtank and so forth...

I should be getting some vape mail soon, I have about 5 orders from different places all in transit but it's MOT time next month and I really do need a new/different car so that may stop my active purchasing of kit, other than that I'm going back to Derby in a few days to see my folkes for Chinese NY, but I most likely be retro games shopping. :)

Still here picked up a new 3ds xl last week & been playing Evolve too on the xbox one, then there's work but I wont mention that :(

Cheers all

Slinxy, not sure if it s what you're after, but check out High Voltage Box Mods on Facebook. :)

I'm liking his SX Mini. :D

That is lush... The dude from edan mods just picked up a sx350 zero, but that is certainly better, lol. I'm just not a fan of all this paying in advance and waiting months for a mod, as by the time it comes I've would have brought something else in the meantime.. lol

EDIT: is the screen size for the sx350 mini the same as the dnas? I might just get a hana type box and do it myself. :)

Sorry, been busy with work and well... vaping my head off.
Waiting for vapmail.. kind off, ordered some 1mm think adhesive backed Neoprene so I can try and make a rubber wrap from the Cloupor DNA40 mods as picking them up first thing in the morning and putting in a top pocket can be a shock lol
Still trying to decide if I should order an Evolv USB charge board to fit in the Mk2 mod to make it complete, worried that its working great and moving it and stripping it out to fit the USB could cause damage and ruin all my hard work.

Guys, hit some kind of plateau. I am happy with what I got.

Hana Modz 30w, Rose v2, kayfun, Stingray X (all clones however :o ) Orchid v4 – got couple drippers but do not use them much; igo-w, Origen v2.

Thinking of getting another vv/ww device, something smaller, the Hana Mod is good, really good. A solid bit of kit but just a bit too big for out and about (why I have mechs, but sometimes I do just want a vv/ww mod with me.

Was looking at the rDNA but I am not completely sold on the temperature stuff. I do prefer a cooler vape, so can see an upside to it, but is it really that good? Seems like an expensive gimmick to me. Being able to set a temp so you do not burn the wicking material dramatically increases times between having to recoil?

Think I might save up for an ubertoot and some other device if I don’t buy into the rDNA.

Hi

I currently have a iTaste MVP which has lasted me well but I think the battery might be on the way out and I currently mainly use a pro tank 2 which I quite like.

So I am starting to investigate what to replace the MVP with, I have just invested in 8 18650 batteries for a torch so maybe I could utilise these?

The MVP cost me about 30 quid what would be my best buy for around the same price, that would do everything me MVP does? I have always found the MVP slightly cumbersome so would be interested in something more "tube" shaped.

I am not very clued up on what is around now as I really stopped looking after I got my MVP.

Cheers

Hey dude. Eleaf get some good reviews.

http://www.eleafworld.com/index.php

The iStick is very similar to your MVP, with a mini that is even smaller (but less battery life). for around your £30 mark. However they are rectangular of shape.

The iJust they have on their website caught my eye, don't think it's out yet so might have to hunt around of reviews, but your batteries will fit in that.

Depends how pretty you want it to look too. I believe your protank 2 is 18.5mm in diameter? Most cyclinder mods that fit batteries will be 22m. This might not bother you!

Other option is to get a mechanical mod. Which is basically just a metal tube that houses the battery. No variable wattage or voltage, more or less just pick a design that you like and away you go, using pre-built coils you are pretty safe using these.

For around £30 and not a full "box" shaped mod and packs way more power than your MVP, the Istick 30Watt will keep you going for a good while...

Midlands Vaping has an intreasting mod, its called the curve by Lost Vapes, I've not used it myself but MV tends to know what they are selling. It's a cross between a vapor flask and a istick 50w, it has removable battery and the DNA 30 features but at 50w.

Other devices (of the top of my head) that can take a battery are:
Aspire CF Mod, Mech Mod Tube; very meh as I have one myself.
Kanger K-Box, odd shape device kinda like the zdna, I think it's fugly.
Smok M50/M65, Nice box mod; not really removable battery thou.
and the 100s of tube mech mods. :)

This sounds very familiar. Seems You and I have similar thoughts. :)

The rDNA (I've got the rDNA30) is a great little mod, yes its pricey but its a tank, I've dropped it etc, barely a mark on it, infact its got more ring marks on the top from screwing attys on that from where its taken a hit. :)

The Sigelei 30w is about the same size as the rDNA if you would rather a more economical option? I've been looking at getting one for the other half. Or the Sig 50w VR2...

The other options could be the SX Mini, or even a Provari P3 if you want a tube style VW device. :)

I'm also not sold on the temp sensing stuff either..... Yet.

All that said since getting the SMPL from FT I've come back to Mechs again. But I do love the regulated mods, consistency is key for me. :)

Depends on what they are, Got a link?

As for a mod, the two above would be grand. :)
