I was borrowing a 27" monitor from a family member who said it would be fine to keep until I can get my own (this payday) but they have decided to ask for it back, and I need my PC for some assignments and obviously a bit of gaming

So I need a cheap monitor, I'm looking about £100-150 just to serve me through until payday, it will be used as a second monitor when I get a decent one so nothing really bad would be nice I understand that it's going to be pretty bad but yeah!
 
To be honest, I want cheap, as I want to get a 1440p monitor, the more I save here the better one I can get on payday.

I don't know anything about monitors so what's the difference between them all say at 1080p?

Better viewing angles, and generally a better screen than a TFN.

If you need 1080P, decide on the size screen you want, and just google for the cheapest brand name you can find.
