After a lightweight case - spec me please?

Hey all,

I'm looking to get rid of my HAF 932 and replace it with something lightweight. Can anyone suggest something to replace it with, perhaps that has 240mm fan space at the top for a H100, and is preferably long enough to fit a 290x or large length graphics card.

Can you afford Lian-Li?

They use Aluminum and that makes for a lightweight case.

I can mate, well certainly their lower end ones. Don't really want to spend more than £100 if I can help it!

ATX or mATX?

The main panels on that are made from Aluminum.

It is 9-10KG.

No way you will be able to get a 240mm in the roof (if it even takes a 240mm in the roof) without hitting motherboard vrm heatsinks/tall RAM.

I assume if I did away with my h100 and went back to air, it'd all fit quite nicely inside the lian li?

If you want lightweight, then Lian-Li are great. They're made from aluminium. More case manufacturers need to use aluminium.

Think I'll do that mate, I don't want a large heavy case any more! The lian li's are less than 6kg!
