Just a quick question as I'm out so will go in little more detail later.

I'm looking for a low profile card that doesn't have to be anything fancy, but ideally single bracket and would like a more modern I suppose card In theory but any I see is double bracket and no use to me.

So my question basically iS...

Is that the case for more modern cards?

There are single shot cards out there, but anything decent is going to have a big cooler on it which will take 2 shots or more these days. Depends what games you want to play, what resolution you run at, and whether you are happy to use lower settings to get good framerates

Hi

All our low profile capable cards come with both brackets.

You are looking at the following models from EVGA:

01G-P3-1313-KR - GT210
01G-P3-2615-KR - GT 610 1GB
02G-P3-2619-KR - GT610 2GB
01G-P3-2730-KR - GT730 1GB
02G-P4-3740-KR - GT740 2GB

Let me know if I can help further
Ben

Thanks for replies.

Deal is I picked up a optiplex gx620 sff for a tenner which I'm going to replace my usff 755 as it's more ideal for long term space situation(755 has stand and fixed monitor, all in one type.) and probably the better option Overall despite sporting a pentium d to 755s E6550 and once I reinstalled win7 pro 64 it be my main general computer as I have an oldy but mild gaming rig that I was going to try steam os on again as that be my most modern like gaming ordeal.

Games for windows would be sims and similar indie type ones.

Dell's aren't designed for gaming, not optiplex models anyways, I just want to The advantage of the expansion slots and make it abit better as such.

Mean I could buy an ati x??? Or hd2400, sort of like what some gx620s were shipped with from factory, but would like more modern I suppose for better support and compatibility but with single connection (unless hdmi model) on a single bracket. I can be buying a hd4350 but it's double bracket and I don't want to cut it off incase it doesn't work with the dell.
