UKIP 1st 100 days Documentary Channel 4 documentary

Tried watching it last night. It's the biggest load of guff I've watched in a long time. Couldn't even make it half way through.

It wasn't funny. It was boring. The only one true thing it had in it was the nature of British people concerning Immigration. They are all for it UNTIL you put a face to that immigrant then they will go on demonstrations to allow him/her to stay.
The rest was a tedious mixture of wide conjecture and at times some blatant anti-UKIP propaganda.
PS I am NOT in favour of UKIP.

0.7% of GDP would be about £100 billion. That's more than our defence and education budgets combined

so care to explain our military spending % of GDP?
2.4% in 2010
2.3% in 2011
2.2% in 2013
2.2% in 2013

Unexpected to be 2% for much longer which America has criticised

oddly it's not over 100 billion and that's far more than 0.7% which IS what we spend on foreign aid

A bill to enshrine in law a commitment to spend 0.7% of national income on overseas aid has survived an attempt by some Conservative MPs to kill it off.

lol not sure if serious.

it's what most the dumb people of this country will believe they will take this documentary as fact.

people believe TOWIE is REAL! ffs

Even the prime minister has used tv series such as homeland in arguments about the need to be spying on everyone because in that series it's how they get loads of info and foil plots.

people are less intelligent and clued up than you would believe, like naive sheep

I really wish what you've said wasn't true :(.

Foreign Aid is great as long as the countries we give it understand that they have to use that money to buy arms from us.

If the money ended up in the hands of the needy then I'm all for it. I have yet to see a positive story attached to this expenditure(how often is news positive though).

I'm failing to find how its been divided up googling :(.

Much like 90% of funds raised by Live Aid, all our foreign aid has ended up in various Swiss Bank accounts belonging to various evil gits.

Honestly, the only strongly inaccurate part of the programme was when the fictional UKIP MP described UKIP as having a Libertarian position on gay marriage when, in fact, they were the only one of the five largest parties to repeatedly and vocally oppose gay marriage.
