Hi all,

Just thought I'd leave this here. Basically my boat club at uni are trying to win £5000 through the spotify Soundclash competition - We're in desperate need of cash as rowing is an incredibly expensive sport and our fleet is ageing. We're currently trying to fund raise and get enough funds up to purchase a new women's 8+ which will probably cost us £15,000 - £18,000. So if you guys wouldnt mind following this playlist I'd love you all forever.

High performance rowing boats aren't exactly easy to repair let alone build! Definitely not a canoe...

You're effectively scrounging, so yes. Get one of the tall wellied toffs Daddies to buy them one so he can write it off for Tax.

Asking someone to click a link? Yeah. Ah yes the 'everyone who rows must have parents with bottomless pockets' stereotype. That is not at all the case, especially not in smaller rowing clubs. If we could do this, why on earth are we trying to win a competition to help raise funds?

They look like canoes to me, suggest you roll your sleeves up, put a mask on and break out the fibreglass.

Seems like a pointless endeavour ploughing 18k into a 'canoe' when you can get a pair of jet skis instead
