C4 cactus

Looks great, so much better than your tediously blandfests by the likes of Ford, Vauxhall and VW's. At least Citroen still have some design flair left in them, and staying true to their roots they have always made interesting and quirky designed cars.

That's like saying Susan Boyle is damn hot because she's not a perky 18 year old like all the other "typical" hot girls?

Being "different" is only a positive if you're different in a good way.

If you eat lasagne every day, and then one day decide to eat poo, that doesn't make the poo "better", just because it's not lasagne!

Even my mrs asked me; "What are those cushions on the doors?", and if she thinks it's stupid looking, then god help the rest of the world.

Susan Boyle isn't different and quirky, and Golfs and Mondeo's aren't like hot girls.

I love quirky looking cars, which is why I like Citroens, love the DS, SM and the C6, something most of Golf loving populous will find hideous, these cars are marmite you either love it or hate it.

No, I love them! And liking the philosophy they have used to create it! Although some ideas are a bit short sighted, such as the rear seating folding arrangement.

So.... you don't like Susan Boyle?

I've got one until October at the moment. It's OK; the THP motor's great and it's quite an endearing car in some respects.

The only major problem for me is that the column doesn't adjust for reach, so it's not very comfortable at all. :(

Sorry, but that's absolutely hideous.

The interior is quite blatantly a mid-90s typical French rotbox type layout with the same materials, just with the controls all put onto a tablet screen. Same with the speedometer.

And the panelling on the doors, hideous plastic front grille and rear tailgate... Just no.

Clearly the looks are "unconventional". Interesting that the reports I've read from motoring hacks are that in general use, that it's actually a great car.

I like it. Quirky design and feature that Citroen used to be famed in the market. Some parts at brilliantly simple but I don't think the price is quite right with the 'simplication' of it.

Better than boring?

Who designs something like that, thinks 'yeah, we're onto a winner!' and then successfully manages to persuade the board to go ahead with it? A blind magician surely...

It's trying so hard to be a modular laptop on the inside.

I'm still lolling.
