thanks for the replies guys, yes he can strecth the 15 :) thanks again, might lookat one myself, was thinking of going for a 970 but this fits the budget better
 
silly question, will this work on a z97 board with an i5 processor?? just i saw the card has amd on the name, or is amd now replaced ati?

This will work fine, AMD bought ATI a few years back.

Do you know the model of the PSU being used - same as mulpsmebeauty mentioned.
