How did Tony Blair invade Iraq?

The Arab spring was nothing more than phrase the west used to legitimatise supporting uprisings is various countries because it suited them.

Never a truer word said in jest bud.

Our intelligence agencies warned us what would happen if we attacked Iraq - Tony blair was NOT listening to our intelligence agencies otherwise we would not be in the mess we are in now, with homegrown terrorists, and the likes of ISIS fools.

The Middle East problems stem way past the iraq war - British imperialism days are what REALLY messed it up - we just continued to support the puppets we had in power over there. Tony is definitely a war criminal - try telling the millions of innocent civilians who lost their lives over there otherwise (not to mention our own troops lives).

Democracy? Arab Spring? - Yeah right, it was all just a facade to try and get someone more favourable to the 'west' in power. Tell that to the Egyptians - they voted for a party democratically and then we supported another dictator overthrowing this democratic party when they didn't play ball with us.

Hypocrisy at its best.

Look at how the Arab spring started before making sweeping ignorant statements.

He didn't fool me. Or pretty much 50% of the British population. He didn't fool David Kelly. He didn't fool the French, he didn't fool anyone outside his 'coalition of the willing'.

Bush and Blair had the legacy they wanted. Fight them in Iraq, they said. 'Liberate'. Well, how about now?

So how did he manage to pass this in parliament, are you saying the majority of our elected politicians were duped or that they in on some bigger conspiracy?

The intelligence lies and dodgy dossier that chilcott was supposed to have reported back on by now.

Some just didn't want the americans to go in alone..best we go together and have some say than no say at all.

'Popular' uprisings in many places. And the West was not thrilled about many of the countries that had an arab spring, so hardly needed to legitimise supporting them.

Is that the one that was locked for 100 years?

Or is that the David Kelly "inquiry"?

This raises another point. If there were valid reasons to "go to war" then why was David Kelly killed off?
