What did you do to your bike today?

First service tomorrow morning, then I can open her up without worrying so much! (she might have already seen 16k rpm several times already :D

Got the gun boot mounted to the luggage bolts so it's very secure now and also much lower then before.

Dammit :o:D

I can't keep secrets for toffee.

Yep in Black Storm Metallic, sport version with performance pack (for the cruise control, obviously)

Hang on a minute were you not ****ging the s1000rr off a few posts ago? :p

EDIT: No sorry, it was not you!

Congrats on the bike :) you will love it i'm sure. Did you test ride one?

I think black is one of the best colours in the new shape. I must admit i prefer the 12-> comaared to the styling of the new one, but maybe it will grow on me. I will have a ride to see whats changed in the summer. Enjoy it buddy :)

Ermagerd. So excite! How was the test ride? Fantastic choice. They're such awesome bikes. I'd totally get one if it wasn't for the fact that my Street Triple scares me with how fast that is. :P

I'll be honest, I've only ever road tested one bike I've bought in my years of biking and that was back in 2000 on an R1. Every other bike I've owned I've gone by reviews/reputation and desirability. I have ridden the 2012 S1000rr and loved it, so the newer model with all it's gizmos on it was a no brainer.

I was offered a test ride and will be taking out their demonstrator next month when it's a bit warmer. :D

Rode it for the first time in 3 weeks :D

Finished fitting the new chain and front sprocket, fitted the clocks and new headlight back on, went to take it for a test ride and wondered why I couldn't change up gears...

I'd put the gear shift linkage on upside down, so it was in 'race' pattern :( :o

A quick 2 min pit stop and a quick blast up the road and back via the m20 confirms all is well :D

Just need to sort out a couple of other issues like the blowing exhaust. God it's nice riding with a band new chain though, so smooth :)

Got it serviced, took it to the beach with the girlfriend on the back (ugh...)

Then Sunday mounted my new RamMount in the stem for my phone and realized it works fantastically as a camera! So took some footage of me hooning around the local biker spot.

Mate has just bought one of these. Delivered next month. He went for a few added extras - performance pack etc, pretty much everything apart from the different/lighter wheels. Its in the BMW Motorsport red/white/blue colours. It looks absolutely stonking. :D

Today I booked my bike into the garage to get a weird squeak looked at (front wheel squeaks when moving).

Thought I'd get them to do my crash bungs also as it requires drilling through the fairing and... I'd probably mess that up.

Oh and while they're taking it off they can fit the R&G clutch and engine casing covers...

Oh and while they have all that off they might as well fit the resistor for the rear light that needs the tail taken off....

tl/dr: I'm lazy and getting a garage to do fairly basic jobs I really should do myself :D

Oh I did tighten my throttle today, so that's one thing I've done lol.

Changed the oil, filter, sump bolt and crush washer on the Bonnie. Hopefully she'll not be leaking oil all over the garage floor any more!

In celebration of her new-found victory over incontinence, I took her out for a day trip with some friends.

Hell no I didn't buy a moped, I am missing having a bike though. Thinking of picking up a cheap 848...

Why don't you just pick up a cheapy, You can get plenty of bike for a 1000 pound. Old CBR would do ya. :)
