I broke the screen on the weekend just done, so I took it to Apple to have it replaced on Monday. I've since noticed that there is a ever so slight yellow hue/tint to the screen. It's bugging me as it was not there before.

Is this something that's worth booking in for? I have to go to Bristol anyway on Sunday so I was wondering what they'd say?

Pot luck really.

Different screens from different manufacturers have different tints. Yellow and blue usually. My friends iPhone 5 has a yellow tint compared to mine which is more blue. Whites look more accurate on his though.

You'll probably get used to it. Unless it's really yellow... got a picture?

To be honest, I only notice it now and again. It's pretty faint, so might just be me being fussy. Pretty disappointing though as the screen before was very decent.

It could get progressively worse. I have an old iMac that had yellow tint and I turned it on the other day to test parted magic in it after having not turned it on in several months and I was shocked by how bad it had gotten. It looks jaundiced.

I'd probably take it back if I were you. Worst thing they can tell you is they won't replace it. Having paid good money for the phone and replacement screen though, you're well within your rights to expect something that functions 100% properly.

I've cracked my screen slightly and been putting it off taking to apple due to the cost.

How much did they charge you ?
