Buying a B-Grade Card

So im buying a B-grade Zotac 780ti to go with the one i have atm, as its B grade what tests should i run to make sure its all good?

Yeah try it on its own, as long as it behaves similarly in game to your current one then that should be great.

if you do really want to just benchmark it run 3dmark.. can compare it then to other systems with a similar setup to you

You could use Furmark/Kombustor or keep it running a constant loop of heaven or valley.
