Where do pigeons go to die?

The building where I work is inundated with pigeons - on the roof, window ledges, railings,etc. But I've never ever seen a dead pigeon in the grounds.

Considerng there are thousands of them about, dead ones are rarely see.

Where do they go to die?

They do die down chimneys, that's for sure. The chimney in my bedroom is sealed up, but I heard something flapping about inside... a week or two later, flies everywhere. So it was either a pigeon, or Santa.
 
Once saw an injured pigeon at the side of a road near our office, it was surrounded by 5-7 ravens who had already eaten a sizeable chunk of its left flank despite it being alive and hopping around, it was still trying to get away :(
 
They don't die as Scuzi says, but he's wrong on what happens though. I know for fact that they become a member of the Sporty Thieves.
