It's my opinion, I'm not talking for everyone. Just like home cinema 3D is complete and utter turd. Where's that nowadays? It's all about 4k/8k/curved screens now (the new thing).

Home cinema is complete and utter turd for you but again, this is something I really enjoy.

If I was to say AMD is complete and utter turd, how long do you think it would take before I got picked up? You see where I am coming from?
 
It doesn't matter if you're talking for everyone or not, people are free to pick apart other peoples opinions. If you don't like people doing so then it's best to keep those opinions to yourself.

Saying 3D is utter turd is not very constructive either is it. I don't know how anyone can generalise 3D as being turd as some of it is very, very good and offers a complete different view to the bog standard 2D stuff we're used to.

That's the point, I'm not talking for everyone. And yes, you're right, everyone is entitled to an opinion, such as my original comment. I'm happy to read other's.

I've played with 3D, both with home cinema and gaming, the former is a waste of time, gets used maybe once a week if that. Actually, it hasn't been used for a good couple of months now, I lie. That tech will only ever pick up when you don't have to wear the glasses. Having to wear them removes the picture quality, more so if you've had your set ISF calibrated, not to mention the headaches some people suffer from (myself included). As for the gaming side of things, I only ever used it once or twice and sold the kit on, so that speaks for itself.

If others enjoy it great, they're entitled to their opinion, as am I.

Constructive enough for you? ;)

Yep, I did miss it in your first post as it wasn't there. Your next post added it, so all good but I am sure you will add "for me" or similar when making blanket statements like that in future :)

Nope, the majority of peoples opinions in this section especially are from the views of others. People take anything PR agents say as gospel and turn it into their own opinion.

Look at most debates in this section, people wander off to go and quote things from other forums or professionals within the business to try and form their own opinion.

Not really, many times I have said something and it has been held against me, even when I add "In my opinion". I was trying to give you some pointers for future posting and I am sure it has logged.

Now for me, I love 3D. For you, not so much :D I am sure there is many who hold both of our thinking and again for me, I would love to see 3D become VR, become AR, become holodeck.... It feels far more immersive when gaming in 3D for me but I appreciate it isn't for everyone.
