Hi All,

I've had my eye on some of the Be-Quiet Silent Wings 2 fans for a while, however they are relatively expensive so I was wandering if anyone has any suggestions on what is equally as good (Quiet,Reliable & Great airflow) unfortunately as I have a R9 290X Reference edition I have to keep my PC quite cool. I was thinking about the Corsair SP120's I currently have the AF120's and they are far too noisy, any suggestions would be great.

I really love my Nanoxia fans - silent and move lots of air (and I really like the green and black thing going on too). Cannot get them at OCUK though will have to look elsewhere for those.

Thanks guys,

Though I forgot to mention I have 4 fans to replace and they are LED it doesn't matter though as I can always buy a red LED light strip to replace if needed.

My theme is black and red.

Hmm,

looks like the alpenfohn's are the winners here, I'll look into these they also are the second quietest I've seen out there other than the Be-Quiet Silent Wings 2 at 15.2 dB (A) these are currently at 18.2 dB (A) so they are super quiet and obviously very popular and good value for money.

Thanks again guys.

Aerocool fans are definitely not dead silent sadly. I tested out a blue variant against several others. Be quiet silent wings 2 PWM was the quietest fan in the same rpm range.

Dead Silence 2

Never heard of Dead Silence 2.

I did test some 120mm and 140mm red Dead Silence Editions, and they are indeed superbly quiet. If you look at the buyer feedback and reviews on those fans, you will find it's not just my opinion. So if you got completely different results must have been a bad unit or something.
