So I need a suit as soon as possible for a job interview. I wanted to spend a little more money than one from M&S/Next but it's still not very much at around £200 + a waistcoat.

I live in Cornwall so not really any great places to get suited up. Moss and Burton maybe but I didn't really like any in there.

So I have resorted to online and I think I have narrowed it down to these two. Just wanted other peoples opinions on what might be the best one. Pretty lame but I have no one else to ask lol.

Charles Tyrwhitt

TM Lewin

Cheers people :)

The one which fits properly and is in your price range.

fake edit: just realised you can't try them on. Good luck guessing on what will fit, I guess. Is there a reason you need a 3 piece suit? I love them but they're not in vogue.

Both same sleeve lengths are the same. Obviously I will return and change the size if it's wrong but I can't try on before I buy. I went around shops yesterday and I'm pretty confident I'm a 38S.

First one, although really, whichever fits you best and looks best online. Alternatively, the one you like the most then spend a bit at a local tailor getting it properly altered.

Cool thanks people. If I don't get the job you are all to blame. Just need to pick a shirt and tie to go with it. :)

Much of a muchness in terms of quality. They always have sales on so I wouldn't pay the prices quote, I bet if you waited a week or so and used a voucher you could get it for 10-20% less.

8% off code on their site plus 10% cashback. As stated, needed ASAP and not in a week or two so just going to have to suck it up.

As others have said get the one that fits best.

You could have the best looking suit in the world on a hanger but if it fits like a dogs dinner it will look dreadful.

I think you're making a flawed assumption - I don't think you should necessarily assume that a T.M.Lewin suit is better than an M&S or Next one. If anything M&S is likely to give you much more for your money.

The most important thing is that it fits well - I'd ignore the brand names and just go try some on.

Having owned suits from TM, CT and M&S I would opt for CT every time, assuming you have no issues with the fit.

Isn't the whole point of the OP that he cannot try suits on for fit? Saying X is better than Y is only useful if either of X or Y don't look like you're wearing your dad's suit.

As mentioned it's all about the fit, fit, fit. I've had suits from M and S and TML and would by from either again. But I would only buy one I could try on.
