Looking for a new phone it has to be on O2 as my mum has a sim only deal with them (£11 a month for a simplicity 300 or something). She wants a phone which is ideally easy to use and has a good camera. Any ideas? Can go over slightly if it will be a much better phone.

Thanks

Under that price could try finding the older Moto G. Maybe new Moto E once it's out, but dunno what price it'll be though, but expecting it'll be either around 100 or under.

Aside from the 635 Lumia might be worth considering.

I could recommend the Moto G. I wouldn't risk it with a cheapo brand like Huawei or Honor because sometimes a good phone goes beyond the specs. The buid quality of the internals must be good with the Moto G because I get intermittent WiFi at times with my S4 and Note 3, but the Moto G is rock solid.

I wouldn't go near the Moto G, it has a terrible camera. Not sure why people are recommending it!
What phone does she currently use? Does size matter?

I bought a Moto G and ended up exchanging it three times because the screen was faulty. It either had a yellow screen or backlight bleeding was verging on ridiculous levels.

If you prefer a Moto phone the 2nd Gen Moto E is only £110.

I would love to see you recommend something better with that budget.

I can easily recommend something. I just need my questions answered first.

Also did you even read his post? A moto g is not going to cut it. ;)

Depends on your expectations - I find the Moto G camera more than adequate. I've no complaints with it.

I read the post but I have not yet encountered a phone with a camera that is in this budget and better than a Moto G. That's why I'm so looking forward to your "easy" propositions good sir ;)

Would love to see a camera better than a Moto g at this budget. Can get the moto g 4g pay as you go from Tesco for £100 and £2 unlock code from eBay.

Hi guys, what about if we upped the budget to £150 would that reap a much better phone? She currently has a Nokia 206, my mum has big hands and fingers so a slightly bigger phone doesn't really matter too much.

£150 would get you a Lumia 735 direct from o2 which has a decent enough camera (6.7MP IRRC) and should let you get the fitbit flex which you could keep/sell for £50~ aswell. Nice phone and WP is very easy to use.

2nd gen Moto G offers a better camera than the 1st gen, I do agree the 1st gen Moto G's camera was ok for most cases but not brilliant. Should easily find it within budget.

I'd try and find an LG G2 (even if second hand). Excellent little machines. Great screen, camera and battery life and the chipset is still more than up to the job. It will completely spank every other suggestion in this thread IMO.
