After much debate and test drive's in what to change my X308 XJR for after 8 years here is the result, Fox won't be surprised but sometimes it's just better to go with the devil you know.

Ended up keeping a few thousand in the bank and bought a very much loved and cared for X350 XJR, the history is second to none having all the common problems already sorted such as air suspension, electric park brake, gear box fluid and a £1500 wheel refurb, Last owner 11 years.
Will post some better pics soon when I've had chance to make her my own and tax out the tax disk.

Every extra including Alpine system and subwoofer, Xenon's, heated wheel/front and rear seats/front window, touch screen nav etc, the only thing it's missing is rear head rest screens :-(

But love or it hate it I just thought I'd share with you all, oh and here's a pic of my old one for added love or hate.

Love it :D Can I ask how much you paid? These are a strong contender for my next car - part of me feels I'm being a bit boring going for the same model of car again, but then you just can't argue with the value for money these represent.

They sound lovely, my old R was silent with a small whine from the supercharger, this has a nice V8 burble through-out the rev range and the supercharger whine is quite loud indeed, probably not far off what you'd hear from a Roush Mustang, I doubt you'd be disappointed. The ZF gearbox is second to none with the added power.

We ended up on £8k although it was advertised for more, and it's covered 89k FJSH. They have been fetching higher money over the past 3 months.

You're right there - I'm not sure what's happened to the prices but they've shot up recently. £8k sounds like a decent price for an example like that.

Annoyingly, the price for the non-R versions doesn't seem to have increased at the same rate - I suspect mine will be worth about 20p when I come to sell it.
