In car audio, any ideas?

Anyone know anything about this?

I'm looking for a 10" sub, Component speakers (not actually needed just want some better ones) and a Head unit at a max of about £200.

In the back of my polo. I current have a 12" sub in some massive box that i want to get rid of and do a built build in the wheel well.

12" sub,
Pheonix Gold QX.300.4 Amp
Broken JVC headunit
Some component speakers that i got cheap from Halfords when i worked there.

I was thinking about £50/60 for the sub, about £100 for the head unit. I would prefer to get a decent sub and head unit and wait for speakers.

You can get some bargains on eBay for subs and amps, especially collection only stuff. Components I would only want to buy new because they may well be thrashed, depends on your budget I suppose.

I don't need a new amp, that's still going fine. I don't know what i'm looking for, it doesn't mean anything to me

try TalkAudio forum, ebay plenty of stuff on there. I have a JL Audio 12W6 but in a box as its made for the sub so goes quite low, I did have the 10" version but they are the best SQ Subs made imo.

If your after a wheel well install then it will be a custom job

I have just posted in there. I will be doing it myself, THAT'S no problem
