US: The Walking Dead Season 5 (contains spoilers)

they're all dead (''we're all transparent here'') and the group can see them because they've gone mad.

that and they want the baby

lol thats a theory to match Lost and I did think while I was watching this strikes me as similar. False redemption, the whole mirage type scenario.
Maybe a bit more realistic like when they went to the CDC and of course that hope was short lived and false.

It could be the fences are more of a holding pen of healthy test subjects for immunity testing.
ie. we lost some; actually they were sacrificed for the rest, hence they keep searching out new recruits to stave off their own use in the program

Actually I dont think thats it

Yeah I think you're looking into it a bit deep.

The writing isn't that good.

it's an angle i'd take, it would make a refreshing change from them destroying everything they've touched like they have previously.

have them battle with madness for a bit because they quite clearly aren't up to the task of suburban living anymore. let them take over a town that's full of ghosts and only ricks son and the other girl who was a newcomer (also possibly a ghost, the way she dissapeared at the beginning) can see they're not ghosts and season 5 is all about them getting over madness and having to enter back into the wild with the walkers as that's now the only world they can live in.

Glad you aren't writing it tbh ;)

The boss woman obviously wants something from them, she's giving them responsibility (jobs etc) which she'll eventually try to take away from them unless they do something.

OMGZ I IS GENIUS?

Great episode, it's building the tension so nicely.

Have really enjoyed this series so far... I like that it has taken us along through so much that we are quite happy to see the group do some horrible stuff as long as they come out the other side :p

My thoughts are they are going to try and kill Daryl on the sly or banish him like the head woman said she did to 3 other men, then the group will make the choice to stay or go, ending in a massive fight and the group taking over Alexandria.

Just a thought though! :p

I think the husband of the woman who cut Rick's hair sounded sinister because he is probably suspicious/jealous of Rick, he probably thinks Rick is trying to steal his wife. I don't think there was anything more to it than that to be honest.

Also, I don't buy the idea that Deanna is going to turn out to be evil. We've seen the evil community leader thing before, and I'm not sure they'd retread old ground like that, it barely seems like any time ago that we were watching the fallout from Woodbury. I'm hoping the threat comes from humans or zombies terrorising the town (preferably some new group of humans).

Just managed to watch the last episode actually enjoyed this one unlike the last few, I think something will come of the husband of the haircut woman, hope things between Carl and that girl doesn't end up in a romance.

But more importantly daryls story line is intriguing me, also whos got the gun rick hid in the blender perhaps the girl whos sneaking out and she accidently shoots someone?

** Don't ruin it for others, use spoiler tags **

If it follows the comics they will be in Alexandria for a while.

I have not read the comics but have read up on Alexandria, but I wont copy/paste full info here, but I imagine in the TV series we will see Rick lead, the guy is a born leader so cant see him taking orders and you have to think after the episode where they drove through all the walkers we will see the town attacked by another group and a zombie Horde, we have to see the walls get tested.

I for one will be quite happy to see them set up base for a while I find the whole out in the open a little boring as it tends to be building to building or barn to barn each episode.
