Nice bit of conflation here.

Iran and ISIS are competing for the crown of militant Islam. One calls itself the Islamic Republic. The other calls itself the Islamic State. Both want to impose a militant Islamic empire first on the region and then on the entire world. They just disagree among themselves who will be the ruler of that empire.

If I had to choose sides it would be firmly on the side of Israel. I don't trust any of the Arab states because of their human rights violations, the way they subjugate women and LGTB people, supress free speech etc. Israel, despite what it's critics say, has a right to defend it's self, but ironically when it does this it is often accused of belligerence. Anti-Semitism much ? Iran is clearly more of a destabilising influence in the middle east and needs to be handled accordingly. If this was an easy fix, we would have fixed it by now. I understand that it's complex and difficult.
 
And yet Iran has never actually threatened its neighbours. Historically Iran is not an expansionist regime, never has been, it's military and actions are primarily defensive in nature.

The only person who want to bomb anyone is Netanyahu.

As far as human rights go, visit Israel, and by that I mean Jerusalem and places where there are settlers and not places like Tel Aviv to see just what goes on there.

And criticism of Israeli state politics =/= anti semitism.

I'm all for Israels right to exist, but Netanyahu is just repeating the cycle of violence that's become self perpetuating
The only way to stop it now is to do something different

Also Iran is quite literately fighting ISIS in Tikrit as I type this - we should be worrying about the real bad guys

Israel flouts International law almost on a daily basis and you think Iran has a bigger destabilising affect.
 
Well Iran are fighting ISIS too, there may be some progress on the nuclear front... Israel is getting a bit paranoid - the US might be able to sort-of work with Iran and take a less tough stance. Meanwhile they're still actively supporting Hezbollah.

I think this sort of thing might backfire on him slightly - he is deliberately undermining Obama and he is a foreigner... this could easily push any Democrat congressmen who were previously on the fence or anti a deal... across to support Obama's plans.

Yes. Iran is far more of a threat to the region than Israel. Iran is a theocracy, Israel a democracy. Understand the difference and the dangers.
