Yes Israel appear to have nukes. However, Israel is a democracy not a theocracy like Iran. Israel is using it's might as a defence against aggressors. Iran seeks to use it's might as an offensive strategy to bully it's neighbours. Theocracies have an apocalyptic outlook. They actively pursue roads that might lead them to an eschatological outcome.

As far as I'm concerned, if they really want to and have the capabilities of building a nuclear weapon (it's actually not that difficult to build a crude atomic bomb to be honest anyway), then let them.

They would never even think about using it in conflict, doing so would be signing their own death warrant. Any conflict caused by actively preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons would be far more damaging and dangerous than if Iran actually did build nukes.

I mean, come on, India and Pakistan (2 countries which hate each other) both have several nuclear weapons; the latter in not-so-safe storage, yet no disastrous nuclear war has occurred on that front.

This whole thing is being blown out of proportion, playing on people's irrational fears of the word "nuclear".

Iran worked with us forces previously in conjunction with the northern alliance in the early stages of the invasion of afghanistan.

There is a video you can watch of Israeli troops setting a bunch of dog dogs on a Palestinian boy.

Please, don't pretend that Israel is some victim.

Iran hasn't started a war since 1826 and it wasn't even "Iran" back then :confused:

Nothing suggests Iran wants to bully anyone

Quite. In-fact deterrence seems to have worked well over the past few decades to avoid major conflicts, if Iran obtained nuclear weapons then the chances of any conflict between Iran and Israel would decrease significantly; which can only be a good thing.

That doesn't wash with me m8. Yes Israel have killed innocents. But so have Palestinian terrorists. Every war in history ever has had innocents killed, so forgive me when I say your argument is vapid and flaccid.

Iran is a theocracy. How many times do I have to repeat myself ? If you don't understand the dangers of a messianic theocracy with apocalyptic thermo nuclear devices then sorry, but I can't help you.
 
Lol at everyone cosying up to Iran, they no better or worse than Israel and have their own gameplan in the Middle East, they are the ones supplying and supporting people like Assad to barrel bomb kids and mutilate kids through militias there proxies use, same in Yemen.

Essentially they have messianic outview of the world just like Israel, where they believe they have to create a powerful state in order for the coming of their 'messiah'. :D

So is Israel, they have a more dangerous messainic outview, they are not a true democracy.

I don't think anyone here is "cosying up to Iran", rather realising that there are no "good guys" or "bad guys" in this situation.
