**** The Official Note 4 thread ****

That seems a bit poor I got unlimited text and minutes and 2GB data for less than that on o2 with free phone.

Does seem poor value for money, you can currently get a free phone on O2 with unlimited minutes and texts and 2GB for £33 online!

In that light yeah it really does but since O2 have been bought out by 3 there is no way in 7 hells that I am being on 3 I can't stand them. Secondly, because we are now a Double Gold customer with Utility Warehouse we get a 7% discount on our energy bill (specifically Gas I think). What's the point in having unlimited minutes and high amounts of mobile data if you don't use it? 600 minutes is still 10 hours worth of phone calls and I know that I don't even make half that in a month.

When we rang O2 the best they could offer us was 2GB data, unlimited minutes and texts for £43 a month! You can imagine what they got told to do with that idea ;)

Lollipop still being pushed out for the S5 so maybe next week now for us.

If true then it should be due for release as my Note 4 arrives :) should be here Monday hehe can't wait!

That's the one, has bad reviews online but I've had 3 phones from them now. All been delivered next day and once you have the phone you don't really have to deal with them.

Thanks, I've pulled the trigger on one from the French rainforest site! :)

About to pull the trigger on french rainforest, the cheapest company that ships to the UK is that "Red Hat" electronics. 583E

Did you get yours from french rainforest direct, as I only see it from a third party?

edit: bought it direct from rainforest Germany, £440, didn't want to faff around with a third party for a measly £20 saving.

Sidenote: popped in an EE store to actually feel it, they wanted £1180 on a 2 year contract!

The official USB cable that came with my Note 4 is a bit loose and keeps disconnecting during charge, does anyone know where I can get an official replacement? Not interested in any third party ones.

TIA!

Fair enough don't blame you, it still amazes me to this day

I know what you mean, I get that feel good factor every day with it.

As to the Gear VR with it being in infancy mode and a new one having been announced there seems little point in taking the current one. It will be played with for a day and then start to gather dust so we'll sample one further down the line.

I've just got a Note 4 (loving it) Can someone recommend a car holder? I've got an official Samsung Flip case and the holder would obviously need to fit this as well...

Cheers

It's mostly the screen that amazes me, especially watching 1440 YouTube.

I've not thought about the Gear VR, I may have a play with it somewhere first and see if I can see myself using it, else it'd just gather dust like you said lol

You sure it's the cable? I ask as the micro USB cable that came with my HTC One M7 kept doing the same, wouldn't hold in the port and even a little movement would pull the cable out of the charging port.

I had to clean the port with a tiny brush and a jewellers screwdriver (carefully), which pulled out an impressive amount of fluff. Charger is flawless afterwards.

Yeah I've tried another cable and it's not having any issues, the port was cleaned too, the metal plate on the usb cable feels a bit loose too.
