Have had a decent run today

Nightfall: Apotheosis Veil
Crota NM: Light in the Abyss (ship) and Song of Ir Yut

Finally hit 32 with my Titans. Just need 30 more shards to get my Warlock to 32

My Nightfall haul across three characters today - Last Word, Hawkmoon, The Clash (legendary shotgun). Happiest about the Last Word, because I already had a Hawkmoon.

One of today's Nightfalls was horrific with the loot. All three of us got exotics that we already had, but someone else on the team needed. One dude got his second Gjallarhorn, I'm still waiting for my first. Other dude got Helm of Saint-14, which he already had and the other dude needed. I got Hawkmoon, which I already had and one of my team-mates needed. Basically, Destiny kicked us all in the nads in that game.
 
I reached level 20 on the weekend and did some strikes which has now got me gear and lvl 22.
Does everyone do these raids and things on Tuesday nights only? I only ask because I work away a few days each week and cant play on the Tuesday.

Also if anyone wants to run some strikes or give me advice in game please do :) I am on Xbox and have added a few of you.

It's spread pretty evenly across the week but Tuesday is weekly reset day so is usually the most popular! You can only get loot from raids once per week per character so everyone's just keen to see what they get !

We tend to do raids Tuesday / Wednesday, and occasionally it gets pushed into Thursday / Weekends and then Monday. So yeah... can be any day really :p

Add us for the odd Nightfall / Weekly help, along with the usual Raids on CE and VoG.

Right now, your best bet is to keep running strikes (for Vanguard marks to buy gears), Patrols (to up your Vanguard Rank if not level 3 already) and if Crucible is your thing, level up your Fractions to at least level 2 for armour and level 3 for weapons, which in turn, also nets you marks to buy from them.

Once you hit level 26+, running raids like VoG NM is easier, level 30+ for CE. Lower level is possible but needs carrying or face dying most of the time, which isn't fun.

Remember to run weekly heroics to save on Strange Coins to buy from Xur.

Hope to raid with you soon and keep checking the raid thread, Monday tends to kick off Tuesday / Wednesday raid list.

If your on running one would you mind if I joined you?

Ran one NF last night, got Septik prime down to 1/8th health and then the timer came up. I didn't even see what killed me (I can only assume a combination of things all registering at once). Very frustrating as it had been smooth sailing up to that point.

Had to put the game down after that and move onto something else as I could sense frustration setting in meaning repeating it was a no go.

Coolio, want to rinse them mainly for the XP boost so I can get that HoC levelled ;)

Gf is away next week so I will be getting my Titan levelled up, have helm, gloves, exotic chest, so just boots and I'll be good to start rinsing CE with him as well.

Been just playing Hunter and Warlock recently.....Warlock was my first char and I got a bit bored with it, but now I just don't like the hunter much, I actually prefer the warlock glide and the fact he doesn't break so much :) HotPF makes radiance a lot of fun

It's almost all down to luck if you don't focus on buying specific gears from Vendors. The first character took me awhile but after that, my other 2 characters did it quicker thanks to getting random other class items and running raids as soon as it's possible.

Yeah I'll just level the NLB that I always wanted.... :rolleyes: :p

I tend to move backwards and forwards between my hunter and warlocks. I prefer one or the other depending on my playstyle at a given point in time. This means if I am frustrated I will die a lot as a hunter trying to tank everything. :D

Only managed two but managed
