Should stoned driving be legal?

MP's don't get drug tested do they?

How some of them are in favour of legalising drugs really makes me wonder what they are taking.

bet they wouldn't ever do drug tests on a regular basis though

clegg is on something for sure

OOOOOR they've looked at the evidence which clearly states that criminalisation of drugs has absolutely no effect on drug usage, and therefore nor does decriminilsation.

Wouldn't it be nice to give drug addicts treatment, instead of just locking them up?

Yes

Wouldn't it be nice if people who are going to take drugs whether legal or not could go and buy them without the treat of being beaten up?

Yes

Is cannabis is dangerous drug?

No

yea but like clegg thinks it should be all drugs and not just cannabis.

yea man let's just legalise meth, krokodil and stuff :D
is he nuts?

All of these new era smart drugs are a direct result of prohibition, and there's no control, they can make new, potentially dangerous chemicals just as quickly as the government can legislate against them, a lot faster actually.

I think Clegg has the right idea, mainstream drugs are known quantities, and these new ones are simply legal, potentially more dangerous alternatives.

I think it makes a lot of sense to draw a line, and deal with the issues, but that does not seem possible in the current political climate, they are making the problem worse due to the fact that it's a taboo issue, if mainstream drugs were controlled or legalised and treated to some extent, there would be no market for theses new fangled chemicals from the far east.

As it stands, young kids can legally walk into shops and buy powerful amphetamine or hallucinogen type drugs that are completely unregulated.

It's a dangerous situation and to simply say drugs should be illegal is a bit short sighted.
I mean WTF is krokodil??

Crystal meth ages people.
Krokodil literally turns people into the walking dead with rotting body parts
It's a cheap alternative to heroin

And why do you think these 'new' drugs are so prevalent? Surely you can see the bigger picture here?

possibly it seemed to work for portugal, but I think we should start with cannabis and see how it goes like most American states are now doing.

If nothing changes it still creates jobs and tax revenues that didn't exist before
