*** Official Nintendo Wii U thread ***

Probably because it was a launch title it's 'old hat now'.
It's a very atmospheric game set in an zombie apocalypse-filled London. It's pretty good from what I've played although as I hate Zombies, I've not managed to play that much of it haha

Having to look away from the screen whilst the game is active to use your backpack on the touchscreen whilst something could jump out is certainly atmospheric!

Xenoblade X presentation at 1pm.

Twitch/YT etc etc etc - you'll find it.

I just finished watching it (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pq-H_xEc8c0). Looks like Xenoblades battle system but improved and expanded upon which is a very good thing!. The variety is quite impressive... just wish my Japanese was much, much better as I didn't fully understand some of the mechanics demonstrated.

While catching up on XenobladeX news I also found out that there will be USB Keyboard support in addition to 4-player online co-op... starting to feel that PSO nostalgia :p.

I loved Phantasy Star Online on the Dreamcast, no broadband in them days though... Just BIG phone bills for my Dad.I never could get hold of one of those DC broadband adaptors. I wonder if it still could be played online.

Unfortunately the official servers were shut down for Dreamcast, Gamecube and PC versions of PSO long ago.
It is still possible to play online on all platforms through the use of private servers. The easiest way to play is probably PSO BB (basically Episode 1&2+) on PC, via http://www.schtserv.com/connect-psobb.php

Monolith Soft should totally add support for my Gamecube ASCII Controller in XenoX :p

Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush has finally got a release data for Europe, May 8th.

Splatoon is still scheduled for May too (touch wood), should be a good month :D.

Gameseek are taking Splatoon preorders at £25
Remember they take payment straight away but they have never let me down and usually the games arrive a day or two early.
Mine is ordered :D

Been reading about Splatoon, seems to be quite a big game on the Wii u
But im not sold on it, might wait till its out and see what the general consensous on it is
