GDC 15: Upcoming Flagship AMD Radeon R9 GPU Powering VR Demo

During my meeting with AMD today I was told that inside that little PC sits the "upcoming flagship Radeon R9 graphics card" but, of course, no other information was given. The following is an estimated transcript of the event:

Ryan: Can I see it?
AMD: No.
Ryan: I can't even take the side panel off it?
AMD: No.
Ryan. How can I know you're telling the truth then? Can I open up the driver or anything?
AMD: No.
Ryan: GPU-Z? Anything?
AMD: No.

So probably a 380x, which might very well be nothing to get excited a bout, hence why they didn't want to make a song and Dance about it.:)

I agree. In fact, he should have gone as far as pushing the AMD chappie out the way and opening up the side of the case to see what was what. Poor work IMO :D
