Yeah I saw that man. Looks a bit uncomfortable though. My biggest issue is I bought bloody Palits and they don't allow cooler removal. So I either void my warranty or leave them green

At least with the Krakens I can slyly slice off the warranty sticker and poss put it back with some superglue

If I change the green logos mind I've had it.

Is there a backplate on it? In one epic they're comparing it to the 980 so not sure if that's the 980 with the backplate next to the titan or not. :confused:

I have to say though, that rig does look pretty awesome. The Stock Titan cooler is a work of art when you compare it to others. The other I liked was the XFX black and chrome cooler on the 290.

No idea atm dude. Some pics look like it has one, some don't.

Would be a shame if it didn't.

I don't think there will be a backplate. The original Titans didn't and I put this down to trapping heat.

Looking at the PCB in the OPs fourth photo (copied above) it doesn't appear there's a backplate.

You've got some problems, you seem hellbent on telling people what they can and cannot afford, like the prior thread. You couldn't see it then, i doubt you can see it now.

Water under the bridge. My reasons for not wanting to buy the card hasn't anything to do with not being able to afford or indeed appreciate it, it's i get bored and swap hardware too often to warrant having something like this in my computer. If you knew anything about me and my purchase history that much would be obvious, oh well.

Yeah that was lovely but no VRM cooling :eek:

So look as nice as they did they were dogs to overclock

Cooler wise i am all about performance over looks. Love this PCS+ cooler and i am sure it would cool better than what's on Titan X while not looking as nice doing so.

That black cooler with the White logos is super sexy. I'm guessing once released it will be 2-3 weeks for the Ek blocks, but now my system has been updated in black I'd be tempted to stick with air! Hoping it will solely be an awesome gaming gpu

I have seen what cards T has been through and if one lasts a month it has done well. He has had more cards than I have had black screens today

(joke of course, nobody can have that many cards)

Yer, I have 2 grand set aside now for a pair but thinking I might need to add a bit more. I seriously am tempted to keep them on air. I hated stripping down my case today and took the best part of 3 hours to drain, clean and rebuild and that was not even putting a WC card back in.

Man I am lazy

Should have bought some QDCs with the 290, connect them and placed ready encase you do go water

The only reason i've never bothered to take my own advice...err, if i drain my rig it's normally to change cases or or to do a complete change

Looking like a good time to upgrade this year. I have been waiting a while. 280X atm!

Cant wait for green and red to release some stuff so I can decide. Also in the market for a bigger and better monitor.

Use quick disconnects.

All I have to do to fit the Titan X is

Undo 2 quickdisconnects.

Pull out all 4 GTX 980s

Plug in a bit of tubing with disconnects to close the loop

Fit Titan X and go.

It takes about the same time as swopping air cooled cards.

You know I will go water...Trying to talk myself out of it but then again, I don't inted to touch the system for quite some time, so I might be able to muster up the effort of popping them on a nice EK block and back plate.

See, I have QD's but never bothered to use them and still in their nice wrappers. Meh, who knows what the future holds and even if I can afford 2 of them plus blocks.
