British night - ideas?!

Morning all,

Sometime later this year i will be working with in a multi-national enviroment for a few weeks. Although it is work related, the evenings are filled with drink and merriment apparently!

Colleagues on past trips away have said that each evening one national will produce a drink and food relating to their country - and a quick speech about the items - nothing extravagant ie last year the UK contribution was a bottle of Pimms and a bowl of strawberries! (we are working in the middle of nowhere and it is just a kick start before heading to the bar).

I was thinking of Macallan Whisky ie Bonds drink of choice and ?! - a toast to a printed off pic of Her Majesty and let the night commence.

So if you had to do this, what would your presentation be? (there are Germans present, so please don't mention ze war).
 
pork scratchings and real ale - like that!

Bangers, mash and a pint of beer - very good, but not feasible due to location issues :(

a prayer mat and some halal meat - boom!!!! I am going to open with this (it isn't a pc environment i am operating in, so this will go down a storm, or i will be sacked).
 
Can of Special Brew and whatever you can get from the local food bank?
 
Your saying your out in the open so cooking I'm guessing is out unless you BBQ so I would say cider and a apple and some Stilton and that would give you some good options on your speech
Unless you BBQ and bangers would work

edit: and a vindaloo and some David Cameron verbal bashing thrown in for good measure.
