I have a PS4. I have played on an xb1 but I just fancied something different after having the original Xbox and a 360.
I am not disappointed but I wish the pads were better. I think xbox pads are superior. As for the graphics divide? Well I think it is hardly worth worrying about. The differences will not be noticeable once you are gaming and if they are, no doubt you are trying to find them instead of enjoying your game.
Neither of the current gen consoles are as good as my gaming PC and my gaming PC is not as good as as my friends gaming PC. Does it make gaming less fun because of it? No.
If you are going to let minor differences in performance sour your entire outlook on a particular console, I think you have bigger problems than which console is best
Just enjoy playing games, whatever platform you use

Yeah, there are tons of imaginary games for your imaginary PlayStation.
The imaginary Golden Eye 2 came out for it last week and was developed by imaginary developers. The imaginary ultimate edition comes with an imaginary girlfriend. Perfect for you

My point exactly. People are taking this graphics comparison way overboard. I've played multiplatform games on both and as far as I'm concerned there is no discernible difference. Both consoles can output 'magnifico' looking games e.g "The Order" and "Ryse". Either way whichever console you choose, once you plug it in and slot your game in, you won't understand why there is so much heated bickering going on!

Need a slim version of the X1, it's huge and still has a power brick. it's around the same size as the bloody tivo box
This is aimed at me, but I don't get your point......
It wasn't just a 900p vs 720p thing I saw, everything just looked worse on the Xbox One version of BF4 compared to running it on the PS4.
Have you compared the two on the same TV at the same time?
I didn't think I would be able to tell the difference, but it was clear to see.

I consider swappable battery packs a massive plus for the XB1 personally. First time your PS4 batteries die in the middle of a Destiny raid and you end up having to sit cross-legged 2 foot from the screen with the USB cable plugged time, you'll not be complaining
Like most people whove owned various Android phones and owned a PS3 too I've got a nice collection of mini USB cables so I'm good.
Pioneer2000 is just a massive Xbox fanboy. Nothing you say will convince him the Xbone isn't the best console out.

Since people have discussed the UI and Peripherals on this thread I don't see why a comment about the size of the console got your attention.

In all seriousness, why does the fact that the PS4 is more powerful and has some better looking games get people's back up so much when it's pointed out? it's simply the reality of the situation and it's not the be all and end all of gaming.
Not side by side, but for people that keep going on about the "power" of the PS4, seems sure strange that BF4 isn't playing on the PS4 at 1080p with full AA @ 60fps is its that much more powerful than the XO.
The reason I cringe when people talk about how much better it looks is its sill 900p on the PS4, no way is it then that those so concerned about graphics don't play it on a decent PC to see it in its full glory?.
900p looks better than 720p and in turn 1080p looks better than 900p whats your point?
I'm not concerned about graphics, I purely bought it on the PS4 because that's where the majority of my friends played on, and I bought it to play with friends, I then played again on my XB1 and I couldn't play it again because of how different and bad it looked once I had seen it on the PS4, it might not seem much but the difference was quite large, I was surprised.

PS4 + MS's servers = perfect console
The only thing I don't like about the PS4 is downtime during maintenance and poor connection speeds, etc.
The console itself and games are brilliant.
The DS4 imo only has 1 issue which annoys me and that is it's bluetooth connection is quite weak and the sound quality (compared to what I'm used to is crap but I wasn't expecting it to be audiophile quality anyway). My console is down quite low and it sometimes breaks up until I move closer and it regains a decent connection again.
Next time I arrange my AV unit the PS4 will be going at the top to prevent this.

Think you've spent too long looking at each pixel, you're missing entire sentences....
Not sure how far away you sit, as mine is low down and i can walk into the kitchen to get a drink and still listen in on chat, which is around 12-14 foot away and through a wall.
