I think the vending machine would be handy - I'd be quite happy to never carry cash/loose change.

Disappointed no official news on Apply Pay rollout beyond the US. Ridiculous UK banks haven't done it yet, we have NFC all over the place anyway!

It's more to do with UK banks being afraid of Apple muscling in on the banking industry with all the data they'd get

My cousin works for MasterCard's mobile payments division (think he might even run it) and worked with Apple on Apple Pay - the delay is more to do with satisfying EU regulations and other mundane stuff. The first 30-45mins is always this kind of stuff.

ResearchKit is interesting and potentially huge... for researchers anyway.
