rMBP Exchange Chances

I bought a 13" rMBP a last month, not thinking that there was a chance of Apple bumping the specs today!

I bought it 18 days ago and Apple's return policy is 14 days - what are my chances of getting this swapped and does anyone have any experience of doing so?

No harm in trying it, they may make an exception (and I thought they had some unwritten one month policy for these scenarios?).

as long as you have all the packaging and its not damaged i think you'll be able to return it

They'll exchange it but only for something of the same or lesser value, so I'd lose my 16GB RAM upgrade!

Decisions, decisions! Is it worth the upgrade?
