Sounds like a strange question but I hate the case I have I bought it as it was cheap and it was a nightmare putting all parts in (This was my first build) I couldn't get at anything and what should have taken a few hours took a full day.

I would like a case that's got plenty of room and therefore quite easy to chuck all my parts in aswell as look the part.

I quite like the corsair 750D look is this classed as quite large?

I currently have a corsair carbide spec 03

The Spec series is very much a budget bunch of cases.
I'd advise at least going Carbide 400, if not 500.

The 750D is a bit larger (compare the dimensions) yes, but one heck of a case. If it had been available when I bought my 500R, I'd probably have gone for that instead!

im fully aware its budget and was all I could afford... I was getting my first set up and dropped over a grand lols never spent that much on anything over than a car or house haha

im slowly going to start upgrading and case is next on my list.

Sorry, wasn't meant to sound like a criticism!
They're still very good cases, although most builds will take a while if you've never done it yourself before.

Another lot I hear good things about are the Lian Li cases. Not had one myself yet, but they do have some great features.

A lot comes down to what you like the look of and what features it includes.
For example - That NZXT above *is* a very nice case, but not for me as I require 5.25" bays.

Some Lian Li's are indeed very easy to build in. Previous to the case in sig i had an A70FB full tower. Half an hour to build a system into it. You dont even need a screwdriver as it used thumscrews of varying length for the mobo, pci card clamp system, clamp to hold the psu in place, clip system for the dvd drive. Hdd's are held in by thumbscrews with a grooved rubber washer that simply slides into the tray. Nice light well made cases, but that particular model was a bit spartan looking inside.

I got the 750D, best case iv owned ever. Looks fantastic, easy to work with and its cheap for the amount of case your getting with all the fantastic ideas they have put into it to make life easyer.

oh and did I mention it looks good :D

If that's the case, then answer is yes, they are easy to build in. Obsidian owners can attest to this including myself, a previous 800D, 650D, and 350D owner. One of the Obsidian case attribute that stands out aside from its subtle elegance solid design, is the ease of working in it. This is because we have put some serious thoughts on how to make the case PC building friendly. Tons of space to accommodate high end hardware and smart compartmentalization to utilize every inch of the case effectively.

Are the corsair D range good for building in? My gf had to take step by step instructions when building mine as I couldn't get in at anything

If the 750D had been out at the time, I'd have bought that over the 500R!
A good friend of mine has one for his secondary rig in the living room and it's taunting me!!!

I also want a 900D, simply because it's an insanely big case for a home user desktop, but that's just me, heh heh!

The Corsair Air 540 is meant to be very easy to build in.

I have an air 540 and its got tons of room and very very well built.

Its a great case for the cash, just budget for new fans as the stock ones have a nice humming noise to them. I swapped mine for Aerocool DS 120mm ones win white :-)

Glad to hear that you like the case :)

I'd have to agree with the stock fans, I'm seeing other users that are claiming the same behavior, where the stock fans exhibits some sort of humming noise.

I say keep it, they always come in handy for other builds or temporary fan replacement should one of your main fans decides to quit :p
