Asus BIOS flashback

Would someone help me how i go about updating bios using flashback. I haven't installed the CPU order Ram. I know that I have to plug in 24 pin and 8 pin power but do I turn on PSU?

Stick the usb stick with the new bios on it in the white port on the mobo I/O panel, turn the power on at the wall (don't start the pc) and press and hold the usb flashback button for 3 secs until it starts flashing and let go. Wait until it stops flashing and the bios is flashed. It's a cracking feature.

Thank you for the help. Once I've installed the CPU and Ram should i boot up before installing in the case?

It's up to you. Some people like to test outside the case before installing, I prefer to install it all and then boot up. In 13 years of pc building I have only ever had 1 build that I have had to take out again and that turned out to be a doa MSI socket 939 motherboard at fault.
