Vulture is 22mil, Fer-de-Lance is 102mil.

:(

New chat UI is great, however. Having local chat means the game doesn't feel so dead. Much easier to chat and chill in a station now. :)

now super laggy with 100's of contacts detected...

Yeah. Got 15fps in SC, instead of my usual 90 or so. Sidewinders everywhere around stations, too.

On the other hand, RESs seem to spawn way juicier targets now. If you can find one without many other players (i.e. not the one in Leesti where I was >.>) then you can get some good money. I've seen the basic Sidewinders, Cobras, Vipers etc. along with Asps, Dropships, Pythons and Anacondas so far, and I've heard talk of Clippers, too. :)

Lag is pathetic they need to revert to whatever is causing that ASAP

Out of Supercruise now the Sun appears with a massive frame jump & many skipped frames something is very wrong & a lot of it is very laggy somehow they messed it up big time its almost unplayable for me now!

Well, only had chance for a quick play but impressed. I got interdicted straight away and FSD failed, so 2% damage but!!! only 2k to fix instead of 200K :D That's better and I like the new chat (although I couldn't work out how to turn it off :D) Felt very laggy in open play mind but that might just be me.

Its not you :( its super laggy in Solo as well pretty much everything lags now they really nerfed the entire game it seems FPS wise it needs the patch revoking & way more QA how on earth did this even pass QA (did it get enough QA I wonder!).

Had great fun with 3 friends with this last night, the "wings" actually works very well when you've worked out how to set everything up.
We are all pretty rubbish at combat and were constantly crashing into each other. Some other players messaged us and asked if they could join in rather politely I thought, and we felt the need to worn them of our "noobness" it was so bad, it was like an under eights football team, everyone chasing after the ball!

Granted its a bit laggy but I think that's down to the sheer number of NPC's per instance, there are so many it makes it hard to actually target any thing specific, and if your heading for a station the screen is just full of bright dots making their way there

All in all a good update I thought, now we just need a bit of content to go along with it

Why are they useless? You running out of power or something?

Turrets not working as intended...

The end result is the turrets just build up confusion until they're reset by losing the target which is obviously not right. I shall be looking to fix this now.

Wasn't in patch notes, but anecdotal evidence advises it may be fixed.

Sounds like my fond memories of Xbox gaming days with the Northenders clan - "old and a bit rubbish" seemed to be our motto. but we had the best laughs in Halo 2 & 3, PGR 2 & 3, Crimson Skies and many other games.

I've just had my first half hour on Wings this morning - the update took about the same time to download too!

Was playing in Mobius and saw maybe one other player, but was interdicted two or three times by lone NPCs on my rare run from Diso to Witchhaul. Submitted and then escaped each time, but I did notice that I had a few credits' worth of damage to repair when I got to journey's end, despite my shields never going offline.

Not sure if that's new or not.

Anyway, most enjoyable, and the enhancements to the GUI like "number of jumps remaining", "no new astronomical objects found" and the temperature gauge all suit me down to the ground.

Opening the gal & sys maps was well laggy, though.

Temp gauge thing is awesome, just felt "right" as soon as I logged in last night.

60% temp = nice and stable, 80% max scoop rate, tend to FSD Jump quicker, so all good really :)
