Is this car starting to get dated ?

How much longer can it last before having to upgrade would you say !?

It's the best mid range card you can get, it is better than the 960 and 280/285. However it's a fair step below cards like the 290 which only cost a bit more.

It's fine for 1080p for a year or so but really I'd expect any card below a 290 to be badly out of date for the very newest games coming this year.

At the moment it's good at high settings and passable at ultra when gaming at 1080p.

Performance of games like Witcher 3 will give a good idea of what will be needed at medium/high/ultra/extreme for the next 2-3 years.
