Spec me Euro Road Trip

It's not a full fat one, but I don't journey down the east of France often. Final destination is Lake Garda, but with the car this time

We thought about staying in Dijon, and then heading through Lausanne to get a it of on the edge Alp scenery. This will be end of May though.

The Dijon stop will be one night down, and then week in LG, then one night stop over again on the way back up (either same place, or somewhere else if you can recommend).

The stop can be hotel or apartment, or whatever.

Why are these road trip threads suddenly appearing in GD, they normally get found in Motors.

Partly because, you don't have to be on a road trip, or a motors fan, to partake in a thread where nice places to stay are the requirement.

We'll go through Switzerland as part of the route regardless, but may not stay overnight there as it's a long drag from Calais to their for the first stop.
