Any way to force 60hz to 4K TV with HDMI?

Hello,
I have a 4K TV that I use solely for media purposes.

Lately I tried to play games too, but I noticed that, when I set 4K as resolution, the maximum herz available is 30 (if I choose 1080p is 60) and it's too much low for me.

I have an HDMI 2.0 cable, that in theory should support 4k@60hz. But since it is not working, I'm assuming my TV can't support that resolution with that herz.

I tried to set a custom resolution with the Nvidia Panel, but whenever I set anything above 1080p/30hz, I get a black screen.

Is there any workaround, or I really can't do more than 30hz at >1080p?

My TV is a 58" Philips.

Hi

Unfortunately that model does not support 4K @60hz this is according to the manual but you should be able to achieve 4k@30hz via HDMI :)

One thing that is mentioned is that 4k @ 30hz is only available in a video format under computer formats is listed as max 1080p@60hz.

Does the nvidia control panel list your tv as a HDTV or monitor im thinking if there is an option to change the format to video.

Computer inputs on all HDMI
up to 4K Ultra HD 3840 x 2160

Video inputs on all HDMI
@24, 25, 30 Hz
up to 4K Ultra HD 3840 x 2160p

30hz max

It is listed as HDTV.

Yeah, I was wondering if there was any chance to overclock this.
