Someone stole my wing mirror covers

I love that people think living in a good area stops them being robbed.

You live in a nice area, the area thieves go to steal. They aren't going to go next door and steal from someone else that's poor.

Someone nicked some of the glass from my passenger window a few years ago.

They used a brick to get it out :p

Why is it always Fords? I had the side skirts nicked of my Focus ST, some people a couple of streets away had their Fiesta practically stripped on their drive when they were away.

To be fair your average skag crim isn't worried about dumping on his own doorstep and living in a nice area at least drops the risk of petty vandalism generally speaking.

I think his point was that thief X will go to house Y with a Range Rover Sport in the drive rather than house Z with a B reg Corsa on the front lawn.

Someone stole one of the numberplate light housings from my friend's mk3 Mondeo as it was parked in a multi-storey. I still can't quite fathom that one. They're a few quid from ECP!

I lost numerous headlight washer jet covers from my old Mondeo too, although I think they just fell off.

On my e36 someone stole the exhaust trims and rear difuser.

On my basic Astra someone stole the wiper arms!?

I've had lights, battery's, fuel and air lines taken off the truck over the years, often in areas you wouldn't expect it, but nothing taken - touch wood -from a car.

Seen the wiper blades stolen off a Focus ST... I mean seriously, do they think they are "ST" wiper blades and different form a boggo Zetec?

My nan used to say "When i was a kid we never had to lock our doors"

Er yeah nan thats coz no-one had owt worth nicking:D

My wife had her driver window smashed so someone could get in her car. They only things that were taken were a half-drunk can of sprite in the cup holder, about £1.50 in change and her coat which was on the back seat. Sat nav in the glovebox and iPod under the handbrake were untouched.

We can only assume it was a homeless guy which makes it all the more sad :(

Why? A house with a B reg corsa on the front has obviously spent all their budget on treasures inside the house rather than outside! :p

Had the tow eye covers nicked front and back a few weeks ago while parked on the drive. Really annoying but it's worse knowing someone has been on your property :(
