Birdseye Complaint Email

Well, it's a standard response by a large company to a customer complaint. They're not going to turn around and say "nope, you're wrong, that's how they're meant to look"...though it'd make for an awesome social media scandal if they did.

You started the thread. What were you expecting? Your email was formulated poorly, it reads simply and, as FrenchTart said, comes across as childish. You were trying to be funny and to be frank, you didn't come across that way at all, you just sounded like a smart arse that reckons the world owes them something. Perhaps next time you'll write a more polite letter rather than something that you think is amusing when it quite clearly isn't.
 
No I'll check back in a couple of months and I bet Birdseye reduce the FAT content of their burgers! :p

I think they knew it was a harmless email...They thanked me for taking the time to contact them...

The customer is always right!

And and for all the people in this thread running it off and biking for hours and cutting....

I'm pretty sure that they've evaluated and completely re-adjusted the manufacturing process on their entire burger line after your email!

Fight the power that be!

I'll copy the stats and they will drop the fat content of their Premium Range I guarantee it!

I can honestly say after working in retail for over a year in the past they just thought you are an bit of a **** but as you have to act all nice to customers they sent you this email offering refund etc which btw gets rid of most people complaining. I doubt they will investigate anything either.

Oh and customer is not always right. Some peoples money is just not worth it.
 
You should have bought a competitors brand of burger and compared then show how much fat from each. If Birdseye's were less fair enough and if not then complain.
