*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S6/Edge Thread ***

The S6 Active on paper looks very interesting but usually aren't much in the looks department. I'll wait with baited breath to see how it turns out.

I don't think Amazon are going to stock the whole range of both phones. They've got a sign up to register interest for the S6 32Gb black and S6 Edge 64Gb black only.

I certainly hope this is not the case.

You can go and see them from tomorrow:

All Samsung Experience Shops in the UK will have the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge available for you to play around with starting this Saturday, March 14th.

I would be very surprised if they don't. Their a pretty big "go to" place for people so would lose quite a lot not stocking them.

Will have to wait and see I guess.

Interesting review succinct and to the point. Positives being non laggy Touchwiz and very competent camera as well class leading screen and high build quality.

Aside from the obvious omissions which have been discussed here on this thread the battery life is a concern taking a 20 hour hit from its predecessor.

The unit that GSMarena have might have older software installed on it and the argument for quick charge some say might negate the mediocre performance of the S6 however Samsung should've put at least a 3000 mAh battery.

I want a phone where I don't want to worry about charging it as my usage varies quite widely going from heavy through to mid to low on a daily basis.

Let's see how Samsung address this and it could be improved with final software / OTA update or might just vary by user. Nevertheless I'll be keeping an eye with regards to battery life.

I'd take their overall battery rating with a pinch of salt. Anandtech's battery review is the one to wait for. ARS Technica's is also good to.

As you say, Final release software will also help I guess.
