Evening guys, I've recently just purchased a new Gigabyte Windforce x3 780TI it's currently all at stock so 1163 core, 7000 memory. How when I ran unigine Heaven 4.0 I received a score of 2864 however I've seen this post -

i7 4770k stock
Gigabyte 780ti Windforce OC stock (1163 core 1749 mem)
16GB RAM 2400

Same settings result

These are on your settings if you compare against the link remember they are different settings and will be a lot lower.

How comes there's such a difference in score? My 3930k processor? Windows 8.1? My ram only running at 1333mhz? Drivers perhaps?

I'm just asking for your opinions as a 200 score difference seems to be quite a bit considering all the settings and cards are the same?

I'd say RAM tbh. Even going from 1600Mhz to 2400Mhz, benchmark scores increased for me so I'd guess that to be the cause of the difference.

Without knowing of they're / your using forums settings for benching heaven it's difficult to compare really. Screenshot says normal tesselation but forum settings are extreme plus the level of AA is unknown.

If you want to compare with my one let me know what settings your using and I'll run it on mine.

As above - screenshot required - zulu's run isn't using ultra settings

Well spotted. Didn't even notice that.

I ran the same setting as the quoted score so there seems to be a 200 score difference because of RAM that seems crazy :P

It says "custom" so are you sure every setting is exact?. Regardless if it is or not, why not pop into the heaven benchmark thread here and run the settings required to compare?. If you are slightly behind on further research, it possibly could be your RAM speed differential.

IIRC Heaven is quite sensitive to both VRAM bandwidth and system RAM bandwidth compared to what is typical for gaming - I saw not insignificant gains from tuning my RAM timings/speeds when benching it.

Yeah I've just turned on the XMP profile for 2133mhz, Went to 1600 score.

However is this the problem -http://s28.postimg.org/954sto1el/IMG_20150314_124103.jpg

Not maintaining 98-99 GPU usage?

When I tried two 780ti's I only got the score of 4450

So I'm guessing it's my CPU holding me back?

Well the only difference with the person's score on the tests are my cpu at 3.8 through turbo and a 4770k @4.5 for example can't see any other factor really.
