UFC 185 this weekend - should be a few decent scraps imo!

I like Pettis but dos Anjos has looked great against Henderson and Diaz in his last couple of fights!!

haha... just read this on Wiki:

After receiving a broken jaw in the Guida fight, Dos Anjos now has a titanium-fused jaw that has broken some hands of later opponents

Brown vs Hendricks should be a cracker too!

Very good card if you take the Women's fight out, not that I particularly have a problem with Women's MMA but Esparza isn't exactly the most exciting fighter to watch, has zero standup so i'm guessing this will be a grind fest of Jake Shields proportions.

Pearson Vs Stout would be my replacement, should be a good one.

I think Pettis should do a job on Dos Anjos but the odds are ridiculous, he's got a better chance than 7/2 for sure! Might have a cheeky bet on that.

Nelson's go-to move is to lie on someone and squash them to death.... Yes, I am aware of his wrestling but this is my personal opinion of the guy...

Overeem is a superior fighter to Roy in basically every way except ability to take punishment. That's why Roy is the underdog. I think Overeem will look to work in the clinch and take Roy down for some ground and pound. If he can avoid Nelson's power punches, especially the overhand right, then it should be an easy win for him.

That said Overeem always seems to find ways to lose fights against technically inferior opponents that he's dominating. At times he's shown poor fight IQ and he doesn't respond well to taking shots. It's a shame for him that this is the case. His striking is fantastic and he has a vastly underrated grappling game. If he had a solid chin like say Dos Santos, Nelson, Miocic...etc then he would easily be a top heavyweight, possibly even champion.

I'm picking Overeem but I won't be at all surprised if he gets caught and KO'd/TKO'd.

^^ i was realy surprised to see Overeem lose to Travis Browne via front kick after he was dominating him, i wouldnt bet on any fights either for or against Overeem, he's too questionable

Looking forward to this card!

Anyone watch any Extreme Fighting Championship Africa?

I have started to record it since my Tivo stopped recording Bellator.

It is not as bad as I thought it would be!

First time in a while that a maincard has 3 fights on it I actually want to watch.

Overeem should beat Nelson, but with Nelsons one punch knockout power and Overeems ability to get dropped by a stray breeze that really could go either way.

I think Hendricks will have too much for Brown, but I really hope Brown can find a way to win.

I didn't realise that Dos Anjos was the guy that suffered the freak broken jaw against Guida. I'm picking Pettis to get the win, simply because I absolutely love the guy, and he has a much stronger resume.

Just when I thought UFC was going stale. Connor meGregor pops onto the scene.. That guy deserves to win.

Awesome fighting style, amazing results so far. A much needed character in ufc right now.

Damn! Really impressed by Overeem tonight. He looked great. Brilliant striking. Mixed it up well and fought smart. Not only that he took some pretty solid shots from Nelson and survived. Great performance.

Rafael Cordeiro has worked wonders with RDA and Werdum. RDA looked so goddamn good. Khabib is coming for that belt, though.

Wait where have you been? He's been in the UFC almost 2 years in April.

I knew the women's fight would be the best fight. Shame about RDA. We lost a boring champion with Esparza, but gained one with RDA.

Well he's now really proving himself I guess, If he gets past Aldo in style then he backs up his talk.

^^ yeah Pettis got his ass handed to him, i hope Dos Anjos proves to be clean, he looked like he had loads of energy :o
just checked the card for tonight, nothing there realy interests me, but whats Koscheck doing fighting again so soon? it was only 3 weeks ago he lost to jake ellenberger
