Hi there.

Been looking to upgrade my old GTX 480 SLI's to a GTX980 SLI set up (or 970sli) However, I was wondering if my system as a whole can "hack it" with these latest cards? most of spec in sig. my i7 980X cpu is O/Clocked to 4.2 (1.30 v)or 4.4 Ghz if I want (1.36 V).

Will the cpu (or anything else in my system) hold it back?, I gather I wont get same frames per second as say a modern 6 core cpu (or perhaps a quad one) but answers on this would be appreciated.

Res is 2560x1440 (dell monitor) I'm assuming my 1200 psu will be sufficient?

Tony

as above cpu should be fine, HDD speed is the major factor I see you have the same storage I have (120gb + 1TB HDD) and I'll hold my hands up my drives are virtually full and I'm constantly deleting games or moving them on/off my SSD
