Watch out on rare runs I got fined 28k cr earlier just for docking at a station to repair/refuel with a rare item which has now been made illegal in that system not sure which one I had 6 different types!

Not been interdicted (thankfully its stupid to have that on solo) in several days so looks like that is nerfed for now on han solo mode anyway.....
 
First ever slightly frustrating evening in ED :/

Stupid docking request rejections, seriously needs a simple queuing system.

And wings... so many times ending up in different instances, really frustrating when trying to show a newbie the ropes :/

For anyone having issues getting wing invites to work :

After you invite, go back and click on their name. If it had the "cancel wing invite" option then it worked. If not, select "send text message" and go back and check again (you should now have the cancel option and they should have the invite). Usually works first time but might take a couple repeats in some cases. Took 99%of the frustration out when I worked that one out. It has been pretty good over the last day though for me.

Just bought an asp after trading in my cobra. I LOVE the way it sounds! Bit of an unwieldy beast, but I'm liking it so far. Would have made more sense to get a vulture and a type 6 instead, but where is the fun in that.

Are you running 5A Thrusters yet? Makes a big diff, but still not as responsive as the Cobra.
 
First time playing today for a while.

Suddeenly the mouse thing on the x52 the sensitivity is way, way too high - in fact, mouse look sensitivity even with mouse is way way too high.

Setting the sensitivities way down in game has done nothing.

Any suggestions?
 
Back playing this again after the Wings update - haven't played ED for approx. 5 weeks. Currently trading in my Type 7 to earn the last few credits before I step in to a well-kitted out Fer de Lance. Looking forward to bounty hunting in this beast, but by god is endless trading still boring as hell.
 
Don't trade then...

Killed my first CMDR this morning, feel a bit bad about it as it was in LHS3447 and he was in an eagle, he just managed to clip me while I was fighting an Anaconda at the Nav beacon so he became wanted, really don't know why I bothered killing him at all, I do hope he had insurance :(
 
so after updating to 1.2 spent the last couple of hours trading and stuff, for some reason my Cobra seems a lot more sensitive to heat, is there anything i can do to help it cope?

Upgrade to an A-spec power plant if you haven't already; if you're still having problems then consider installing heat-sink launchers.
 
Vultures are ace and the increased bounties are ace.

Me and a friend in an anark system with vultures taking out 280k bounty condas in about 30 seconds
